This single origin coffee is DIRECT TRADE bean. Andrew and Paola built their relationship with Frank while they lived in South America.
We first met Frank Torres on a Q-Grader course in Bogotá in 2016 before travelling to his remote farm in Nariño, high up in the Andes mountains. Frank grows coffee side-by-side with lulo, mandarins and limes, which helps to provide shade, soil fertility and naturally control pests. This lot is striking for its crisp, clean acidity, a lush, creamy mouthfeel with notes of maple syrup, sweet grapes and a hint of kiwi on the finish.
