This single origin coffee is particularly interesting because it's made up of just one arabica variety - Tabi, a combination of timor hybrid, typica and bourbon.
Victor Barrera grows about 4,500 tabi trees on his 3.5ha farm in southwestern Colombia. Coffee pickers frequently prefer harvesting tabi because the coffee cherry nodes are more spaced apart than other varieties. We find the flavour is also delicious and distinctive, with this lot displaying an abundance of tropical fruit in the cup. Roasted for filter.
