In creating the idea of neighbourhood coffee we decided that we wanted to be good neighbours and live in / help create a great neighbourhood.
One of the basic cravings of humanity is to connect with each other. We think outstanding fairly traded coffee and engaging conversations in relaxed and comfortable environs is a brilliant way to connect. We’d like to thank you for supporting us and for helping to make this neighbourhood. a better place to be.#Love where you live.
Carrow Coffee Roasters
Paola and Andrew, founders of Carrow Coffee, located on Carrowgarry farm beside the Atlantic Ocean in County Sligo, Ireland.
Their passion for coffee grew in Colombia where they lived for four years, travelling extensively throughout the countryside to visit farms and learn about coffee production and the different processing methods. Keen to stay in the world of coffee they founded their roastery.
Carrow Coffee Roastery is leading the way sustainability (the roastery itself is built with repurposed wood) and working directly with farmers that they’ve built relationships with while living in Colombia. Their aim is to source top quality beans and roast them to the highest standards, favouring light to medium roasts that allow a bean’s intrinsic flavour to shine through.
Tra Coffee Roasters
A micro roastery founded in Tramore, Waterford in 2017, Tom’s story is different from any other roaster in Ireland. Toms job took him all around the world and he enjoyed tasting coffee from wherever he was, be it in Lebanon, Liberia or Chad.
Before Tra Coffee Tom served as a sniper in the Irish defense forces for over two decades. Following this what started out as an experiment shortly became a business due to popular demand. Tom brings his keen eye and attention to detail in his sourcing and roasting technique.
Tom and his team hope that wherever you’re enjoying your coffee, it gives you that feeling of intense freshness like walking on the beach on a cool windy day…!
Creed Coffee Roasters
A micro roastery based in Celbridge, Kildare. Back in 2016 Paul and Declan started Creed Coffee.
“Creed is someone’s religion and people are that passionate about their coffee”.
Creed focus on ethical sourcing of the finest specialty grade coffee beans from around the world. They source either through direct trade or their trusted European suppliers.
All your coffee beans are put through the roasting process to bring out their natural flavours. They vary their coffee seasonally and aim to showcase each bean at its best and through a variety of brewing methods.
Groundwork Coffee Co.
A micro roastery that was started in 2019. The family enjoyed running their two cafes, Coffee works, so much that their passion for coffee grew more and more until starting a roastery became a no brainer for them.
Just a year old they're out doing themselves. They stick to six single origins at a time so that they can truly master each bean they serve. All of your beans are roasted to order and sent fresh to you by Graeme and Tristan.
